Shares -

Each Greene Harvest CSA membership must include the purchase of one vegetable share—either single or family (single: $280 / family: $525). The CSA also offers a low-cost single share for households with an annual income at or below $30,000. If you qualify for a low-cost share, please email GHCSAinfo@gmail.com for more information, or speak to a coordinator at sign-up.

Members can purchase more than one of each add-on (fruit, eggs, dairy, and beef), but each share must be picked up at the same time.

I accept the 2010 membership terms offered to me by Greene Harvest CSA. I agree to pick up my share on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Habana Outpost (757 Fulton Street @ South Portland Avenue), June 5 - October 30, 2010.

I understand that the entry gate will close at 11:15 a.m. to allow GHCSA to maintain its working relationship with Habana Outpost. GHCSA will stop admitting members at 11:15 a.m. in order to clean and pack up so that Habana Outpost can open on its doors on time.  My share will be donated if I do not pick it up by 11:15 a.m.

As a CSA member, I  join with my farmers in accepting the risks (crop failure, poor weather, pests), as well as the bounties of the harvest. My share will vary from week to week, generally consisting of eight to ten (8-10) different local seasonal vegetables; the exact amount or contents of my share are not guaranteed. 

I will fulfill my one work shift requirement of 3.5 hours per season. Unless I have discussed a different work option with GHCSA, I will work one Saturday distribution shift (8:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.).  My membership may be denied in the following season if I fail to give 24 hours' notice and acceptable justification for rescheduling my work shift, or if I do not fulfill at least one work shift by the end of the season.  I understand that I must arrive on time in order to fulfill my work shift requirement.

The CSA does not offer any refunds.  If you wish to sell your CSA share(s), a coordinator will put you in contact with someone from our waiting list.
